We decided to return the pub back to its old name ‘The Cricketers’, because locals have always referred to it by that name and, as luck would have it, Noi’s husband loves cricket! The front bar has been decorated in traditional pub colours using Farrow & Ball paint. Cricket memorabilia has been put up on the walls, including a picture of young Tom Hayward who played cricket for England and whose family were the landlords.
